39 Weeks

For the sake of including one more statistic that serves no other purpose than to make Mom and Dad feel better, mom is now 50% effaced!

The nesting and planning continues, and the waiting...waits.

We're entering the final week of my scheduled stay in this fantastically warm, safe hostel. Hopefully the next week's installment will include the rosy cheeked mug of yours truly!

38 Weeks

A little bigger, a little slower, a little more ready. Mom's still holding steady at 1 cm and even more ready to start pushing me out.

37 Weeks

I'm full term now, and I'm ready to come out... If only I could figure out where the door is so I could get out of this place.

We had a doctors appointment yesterday and Mom is doing great. She's even dilated to 1cm!

Everyone send me your positive thoughts and I'll be seeing you all soon.

36 Weeks

We have entered the ninth month and now officially in the home stretch. In fact, according to some of your estimates, we are just over a week away. All will be great though because at the end of this week I will be considered at full term and ready for the world.

We had our doctors appointment yesterday and everything is doing great. She even gave us renewed hope that I won't be the whopping behemoth that Mom fears I'll be. We'll be going back every week from now till the end, so the doctor can pop open the hood and check the tires.

Oh, and for those of you who think Mom looks smaller this week... it's just an illusion. Maybe we'll start front view pictures next week for the REAL story.

Doesn't matter though, we all know she looks beautiful.
